Curriculum

Holistic education is imparted in a stress free environment with a no examination system up to the Class VIII. The unique curriculum lays emphasis on sport, music, art, dance, public speaking and interactive skills. Springdales is a pioneering institution where we believe that each child is special and must develop his or her own personality through a specially designed education programme

The school curriculum is multi-faceted, holistic and designed to give opportunity to each child to develop his interests and talents. The subjects taught include English, Hindi, mathematics, environmental studies, science, social studies, French, Sanskrit, computer and information technology. Extracurricular activities include music, art, dance, public speaking and stage performances. 

From nursery to class V, children are encouraged to communicate and express themselves through art, play, music and dance, observe, analyse and conclude. Children are familiarised with pre-reading and pre-writing skills. Excursions and outdoor activity form a major part of the kindergarten activities. 

In the middle school (Classes VI –VIII), there are no examinations held; subjects taught include English, Hindi, science, social science, art/dance/music, third language, general knowledge, computer science, physical education and SUPW. 

At the secondary school level (classes IX – X), Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation is used to assess children’s progress in scholastic and co-scholastic areas. 

At the senior secondary level (classes XI –XII), the school follows the CBSE board evaluation system and the subjects offered are as follows with English being the core compulsory subject. 

Commerce: Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics, Physical Education/Hindi. 

Science (Non Medical): Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science/Economics/Hindi/Physical Education.
